Silverstein is a beautiful medium to large size Bucephalandra. The leaves of this subtype can change from a green towards a darker green. The hue intensity depends on the quality of the lighting.
The leaves of the plant get a stronger oval shape when grown submerged, with a strongly defined midrib. It looks like a larger version of a Pink Lady.
Bucephalandra Silverstein is a perfect species for beginners at keeping Bucephalandra. It’s not highly demanding, and it is not the slowest grower in the species. As with all Bucephalandra species, Co2 injection is not required, but will help increase the growing speed.
