Brownie Pixie is a beautiful medium size Bucephalandra of the Brownie Series. The leaves of this subtype can change from a brown red towards a dark brown green. The hue intensity depends on the quality of the lighting.
The leaves of the plant get a stronger oval and wavy shape when grown submerged, with a strongly defined midrib.
Bucephalandra Brownie Pixie is a perfect species for beginners at keeping Bucephalandra. It’s not highly demanding, and it is not the slowest grower in the species. As with all Bucephalandra species, Co2 injection is not required, but will help increase the growing speed.
